Cancellation Policy

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the full cost of accommodation is required to secure your booking with the exception of last minute/ same day bookings. Deposit for online reservation is requested via PayPal (You do not need to have a Paypal account for this). Alternatively, reservations can be taken over the telephone, in which case credit card details will be taken over the telephone for the amount of the deposit.

In the event of any cancellation, or part cancellation, or failure to arrive by any or all of the guests, on the agreed date, for whatever reason including illness, a cancellation charge will be levied.

 Deposits are refundable if the booking is cancelled more than 21 days before the date of arrival.

The full cost of the booking is payable for cancellations with less than 7 days notice. For cancellation of last minute bookings (less than 7 days), the full cost of the booking is payable on cancellation (unless the cancellation is within 1 hour of the booking).


Termination Policy

Old Whitehill reserves the right, at its discretion, to terminate, without notice, an individual’s stay where deemed necessary, through unacceptable behaviour  or as a result of actions which are likely to endanger or offend others (Please note that non compliance of our strict non smoking policy would constitute termination). In such circumstances, any outstanding balance must be settled, no refunds will be made.

Payment

All payment for a stay is payable on arrival. Payment of final accounts are acceptable by cash or by debit/credit card. 

No Smoking & No Pets

For the comfort of our guests, Old Whitehill Bed and Breakfast is a strictly non smoking accommodation establishment.  Pets are not permitted in the B&B.

 Damage

Guests are welcome to consume wine in the bedrooms but in the event of spoilage to furnishings and bedding will be liable to either professional cleaning costs or cost of replacement if the former is unsuccessful or inappropriate.


Departure

Guests are requested to vacate rooms by 11am on morning of departure unless  previously agreed otherwise. 

Faults & Complaints

Any faults or complaints must be reported to the management at the time of the occurrence. In the event of any major failure of any equipment, property or utilities, this will be dealt with as speedily as possible. The management can not be held responsible for any inconvenience caused. All equipment and property is maintained on a regular basis.
